A long weekend is on its way and I’m pretty sure most of you are already planning on some places to go or activities to try. So let me suggest something… What do you think about hiking, or flying an ultralight plane, or having a staycation?

How about paragliding? Safii Ranch is the paragliding spot in Mindanao. It is in Maasim, Sarangani Province, a 3-hour drive from Davao City. I tried it myself and although it made me a bit dizzy, because I’m prone to motion sickness, I still had loads of fun.

I remember it cost 3000 pesos per person then, and every glider had a free video from their GoPro camera. You’d have to plan on being there early though because a lot of people may be there and when it’s your turn but there’s not enough wind for the activity, they would really need to cancel and ask you to come back the next day. 🙁
