As mentioned in this post, a month after I graduated, I moved to Manila to to take another college degree. Back in architecture school, Bonifacio Global City was always an example of good planning. So obviously, after I settled in my new home, my favorite place to go to was the famous BGC.

On my first few months, I always spent my weekends there. I love the place because people are dressed so casually elegant. They wear clothes you can’t normally dress in Davao to just walk the streets. Their pambahay would pass as mall outfits in Davao, and their mall outfits are what I usually wear for simple parties.

So one time, I followed their weekend street fashion and walked around in a maxi skirt! (I’d like to believe this was before maxi skirts were popular.) My friend and I got lost around their then-confusing streets so we ended up walking more than we planned. But it’s okay, at least we got photos at different areas in BGC.
