Our family loves to travel – domestic or international. We try to travel as much as we can so we grab opportunities like long weekends and holidays. It’s because of this lifestyle that my parents decided to buy a Holiday Ownership from Astoria.
An Astoria Membership Member gets so many perks and freebies, including a membership to RCI. This means that every year, we get a free hotel stay for a week in any Astoria Hotel nationwide, or have it converted to free hotel accommodations to an RCI-affiliated hotel worldwide. There are so much perks I can’t put them all here (especially because I’m not here to endorse them). I just want to tell you that if you’re a frequent traveller, you might want to look them up and see what offers they have for you.
Anyway, an Astoria Hotel opened in Boracay (Station 1) in 2013, and we immediately booked a trip there to experience it while it’s new. Room rates in Astoria Boracay start at around 7000 per night for a room for two. Lucky us, we have a membership, so we stayed there for free! Hooray for free stuff!
The rooms are clean and has a refreshing feel, maybe because of its colors. It’s not your usual white or white-and-brown-or-gray color scheme. The restaurant welcomes the sea breeze, making the fish ceiling ornaments “swim” in the air. And the pool, it’s just amazing, especially at night. Here are the photos so you can agree with me. 🙂
